Meet & Greet
Your trip leader and your driver will meet you at our office located 5-min walk from city center of Peja at agreed hour (you can arrange a pick up from your accommodation). He or she will answer questions, brief you on the trip details, and will lead you to your starting point 8km from city center of Peja at Rugova Canyon.
Preparation and safety briefing in front of the cave and start of the trek. Great Canyon Cave-system: underground river passage, Duration 3-4 hours moderate activity, no experience needed, but you will need to be fit and well.

Cave trekking through the underworld of Kosovo karst is a real pleasure. Great Canyon Cave system-13250m of cave corridors and galleries, biggest cave in Kosovo and 12-th in the list of highest caves in the world.
For all who desire recreation and relaxation in peace and silence, cave trekking is the ideal solution. A special feature of these visits is that they are organized for small groups and lead through those parts of the caves that are not open for mass visits. A guide is compulsory, as is additional equipment: helmet, headlamp which we will provide. Suitable for group of friends as a way to explore together and at the same time share a lifetime experience. You don’t need any experience for this adventure.
