Newborn Monument

One of Prishtina’s iconic landmarks is the “Newborn” monument, which symbolizes the city’s declaration of independence from Serbia in 2008. Each year, the monument is repainted with a new design to commemorate significant events.

Heroinat Monument

Located just opposite Newborn, dedicated to all women who where persecuted and raped from Serbian forces during 1999 conflict.

Mother Teresa Square
